Still Waters began with a simple idea: to create a place where people could slow down, reconnect with nature, and find space for rest, inspiration and creativity.
Set on the shores of Lake Galvė in Trakai, it is more than a guesthouse. Thoughtful design, contemporary art, an international writing residency and linen come together in an experience deeply connected to its surroundings.

A Place Shaped by Trakai
Still Waters was created with deep respect for Trakai and its unique cultural landscape. The architecture, natural materials and quiet colours allow the spirit of the place to remain present.
The textiles draw on the rhythms, colours and visual language of Karaite heritage - not by repeating tradition, but by translating it into a contemporary and tactile experience.

Still Waters by Linen Tales
Created exclusively for Still Waters, the first Still Waters by Linen Tales collection was designed in collaboration with fashion designer Morta Griškevičiūtė. Inspired by the colours, textures and rhythms of Trakai, it translates a sense of place into linen for everyday rituals.
